Health Economics and Decision Science (HEDS) at the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR), University of Sheffield have produced their Summer newsletter. The newsletter highlights work carried out at ScHARR’s Alcohol Research Group on the Minimum Unit Price for alcohol in policy introduced in Scotland; work of researchers from HEDS, in collaboration with colleagues from the Universities of York and Manchester, on the cost of avoidable medication errors in the NHS; an EU-supported project investigating the impact of a combined tuberculosis and HIV intervention in high prevalence communities in South Africa and Zambia. Recent and forthcoming events, courses and staff updates are also featured.
